AAF Triad Fundraising

Someone's gotta pay the bills. Speaker fees, travel, food, accommodations, meeting space rental fees...it all adds up! So throughout the year, we look at opportunities to help inform and educate the Triad community about marketing while also partnering with generous corporations, businesses and suppliers to develop a functional item, bring in a national talent or whatever might bring in the green to raise money for our annual expenditures.
Our fundraising department researches and develops events, activities, workshops and programs that can be used effectively to raise money for AAF Triad. Additionally the chairperson uses area resources and personal expertise in an annual event that both raises funds for a worthy cause broadly supported by the Triad marketing community and raises awareness of AAF Triad.
And as students are the future to our industry's success, fundraising is a means to assist in raising money for AAF Triad Diversity Scholarship Fund, while also facilitating the selection of an annual winner. With much to do, there's always room for someone else to join the committee with great ideas and new ways to help maintain the level of information and education the Triad business community has grown accostomed to expect from any and all programs, events and activities sponsored by AAF Triad.
Oh, just in case you're wondering, the board members who take on a role once a year do NOT receive any financial compensation and ARE responsible for paying their annual membership fees. There really are people who truly love helping to serve their community within the industry that has served them well.
